Thomas Netter is a New York based performer, director, choreographer, and teacher. He started performing at the age of 5 as Michael in Peter Pan and hasn’t stopped since!

Thomas is a proud graduate of the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theater. Some performance credits include the North American Tour of A Charlie Brown Christmas (Charlie Brown), the original Off-Broadway cast of Holy Rollers: A Musical Comedy Second To Nun, Bye Bye Birdie (Albert Peterson), A Gentleman’s Guide… (D’Ysquith Family), Matilda (Miss Trunchbull), and many more! As a director and choreographer, he has lead productions of 13: The Musical, Shakespeare In Love, Curtains, bare: a pop opera, Hello, Dolly!, Matilda, and the premieres of short plays such as Fast Times and The Trouble With Peaches at the Gallery Players in Brooklyn.

Because of local mentors such as Lisë Hopson and Kevin Archambault, teaching has become a great passion for Thomas. During the pandemic he taught general music to grades Pre-K through 8th grade at Kingston Catholic School, in addition to producing and directing two full-scale virtual musicals (Peter Pan Jr. and The Wizard of Oz) with those same students. He considers it an honor to have been a guest teaching artist at places such as The CENTER for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck, the Broadway Bound Summer Theater Workshop, the Ballet School of Kingston, a virtual instructor for the Bin Ge Center for the Arts in Shenzin, China, and Hudson Hall.
